Demolition subcontractor for Haselden / Diesslin is Hillen, scheduled to start Andreas Field House demolition Monday 3/19/2012.
IMPORTANT: CONTACTING STAFF AND ADMINISTRATION: Salida School District network infrastructure will be taken DOWN for an unknown period of time while the old Salida High School Core Routers, Switches, Firewall, servers, and other net equipment is removed and re-installed in the New SHS.
We do not know how long this will take. It will affect all district phones and Internet traffic to and from all other R-32-J locations, Longfellow Elementary School, Salida Middle School, Transportation Dept., Early Childhood Center, and Administration Building.
While our intention is to minimize outages and duration, there will be major loss of network and phone services, including but not limited to: E-mail, Phones, FAX machines, Internet Access to and from the district.
"Planned" outages will begin immediately after the close of school, May 24, and contine possibly as late as July 30, 2012, or beyond. We do not yet have firm dates from our network contractor for removal and re-installation of network equipment. We will post planned outages as far ahead as possible.
